P&Z November 17, 2015 – McIntosh Project
A reminder that Planning and Zoning Commission will meet again this Tuesday to approve or deny the McIntosh project at 605 E. University Ave.
Many residents of Old Town showed up two weeks ago and voiced their opposition to this project. Please show up again for this meeting to show your opposition.
This will be the first item on the agenda. The meeting is on Tuesday, November 17 at 6 pm in Council Chambers, at 101 E. 7th St, on the Square at 7th & Main.

P&Z Hearing on McIntosh Project
Remember that the final word on whether this project is allowed to go forward will come from city council on November 24. We’ll send out information before then. P&Z’s recommendation to approve or deny is a significant part of council’s decision. The council meeting on the 24th should go on everyone’s calendar as a must-attend.

At the last session, 17 people spoke in opposition to this project, and many more people attended to show support. It was heart warming to see the neighborhood turnout, with everyone so unified in understanding what a travesty of smart growth this project will be. No one spoke in favor of the project.
